Sunrise Pine is a private, accredited U.S. online high school. Every student learns through live one-to-one Zoom classes with teachers who know them personally and graduates with an official U.S. high school diploma and transcript.
In grades 9-12, students build toward an accredited U.S. diploma with a flexible schedule, a high-quality curriculum, and live individual teacher support, from anywhere in the world.
Individual 45-minute Zoom classes where teachers give personal attention, feedback, and support.
Flexible scheduling that fits any time zone and focuses on real progress, not seat time.
Graduate with 24 credits, an official transcript, and a GPA that universities recognize worldwide.
Honors, AP, and NCAA-approved courses, plus personal guidance toward the right university.

High school is where grades start to count: for university admission, for NCAA eligibility, for whatever comes next. Our model is built to make sure no student falls through the cracks.
Students complete structured coursework through our online learning platform, where every lesson, assignment, and grade lives in one place. Alongside that, they meet their teachers in live one-to-one Zoom classes, not group lectures or pre-recorded videos. In these sessions, teachers answer questions, work through difficult material, give feedback, and keep students accountable and on pace.
Depending on the plan, students have one or four live classes per week, each lasting 45 minutes. Between classes, students should plan for at least two hours of independent coursework per day. To keep this manageable, every student has a dedicated to-do list for each day of the school week, so they know exactly what to finish to stay on pace.
Scheduling is built around the student's life, not the other way around. You can set a fixed weekly schedule with your teachers, or book each class through a calendar link at times that suit you.
Our curriculum is delivered through a modern online platform and taught with the individual support of our own teachers.
For students aiming higher, we offer Honors courses and Advanced Placement (AP) courses - university-level classes that strengthen applications and can earn university credit.

Students graduate with a fully accredited U.S. high school diploma after earning a minimum of 24 credits across required subjects and electives.
Throughout high school, students receive official transcripts and a GPA, the standard academic record that U.S. and international universities expect:
This means that students who take on Honors and AP classes graduate with a transcript that shows it, which is exactly what selective universities look for.
Many of our students transfer in partway through high school, often from schools outside the United States.
If you provide a valid transcript from your previous school, we accept the earned credits and apply them toward the 24 required for graduation, so switching schools doesn't mean starting over. During the admissions interview, we review the transcript together and map out exactly which credits transfer and what remains to graduate.
All instruction is in English, and English language support is available for students still building fluency.

At a school built on one-to-one teaching, teachers are everything, so we choose ours carefully.
Every Sunrise Pine teacher holds at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, and many hold or are completing master's and doctoral degrees in their fields. But credentials are only the starting point: our teachers are selected for genuine commitment to their students. Because classes are one-to-one, teachers know each student's progress, strengths, and exactly where support is needed, every single week.
We work closely with every high school student on what comes after graduation.
That support is personal and practical: helping students figure out what they actually want from their studies and career, identifying universities that fit their goals and circumstances, and mapping out the specific admission requirements, including whether AP exams or other credentials are needed for their target programs.
Every graduate of our first graduating classes went on to enroll at the university they were aiming for. We intend to keep it that way.
For athletes who hope to compete in university sports in the United States, the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) requires specific approved coursework and a formal eligibility process.
Sunrise Pine offers NCAA-approved core courses through the NCAA Eligibility Center, and we guide student athletes step by step: from choosing the right courses early in high school to registering with the Eligibility Center and meeting its academic requirements.
Combined with flexible scheduling that fits around training, travel, and competition, this makes Sunrise Pine a practical home base for serious young athletes.
Sunrise Pine School is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC). Accreditation means our teaching, curriculum, and records are independently reviewed and held to the highest standards. You can verify our status directly on the ACS WASC website and learn more on our accreditation page.
In practice, this means that students receive diplomas and transcripts from a recognized U.S. institution, equivalent to those issued by traditional American high schools, and accepted by colleges, universities, and organizations worldwide.
Families choose between two plans. The full plan includes four live 1-to-1 classes per week and costs $4,950 USD per year. The lighter plan includes one live 1-to-1 class per week and costs $3,800 USD per year. Monthly payments are available for both.
Everything else is identical: both plans include full platform access, all coursework, grading, official transcripts, and the same dedicated teachers.
Most high school students, especially those preparing for university admission, benefit from the structure and momentum of four weekly classes.
Sunrise Pine School is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC), one of the major regional accrediting bodies in the United States and internationally.
Yes. Classes are scheduled individually around your time zone, either as a fixed weekly schedule or booked class by class through a calendar link.
Students don't need perfect English to join, just a level strong enough to follow the curriculum, which we assess together during the admissions interview. From there, English improves naturally and quickly, because students read, write, and speak it every day in their coursework and live classes. English language support is available along the way.
Live classes take place one-to-one over Zoom at scheduled times, and all coursework between classes happens on our online learning platform. Students need a computer, a stable internet connection, and a quiet place to work.
Students should plan for at least two hours of independent coursework per day. To make this easy to follow, every student receives a to-do list for each day of the school week, so they always know exactly what to complete to stay on pace.
